Ammar Al-Taher

Ammar Al-Taher is a Senior Energy Expert with years of professional experience in the energy management and sustainability field combining multi-disciplinary expertise in engineering, business development, strategic planning, financial analysis, policy formulation, international development and capacity building across four continents.

Ammar is a World Bank (WB-IFC) certified “Business Edge” trainer in personal productivity skills, operations management and finance. He is also an International Labor Organization (ILO) certified “Expand Your Business” consultant / trainer in: strategic Management , strategic Financial Management.  In addition,  Ammar is a certified “Pan Arab Certified Energy  Management Professional” (PA-CEMP) trainer by the Regional Centre for Renewable Energy and Energy Efficiency (RCREEE).

Besides his noted contributions as a member of the League of Arab States “Renewable Energy/Energy Efficiency  Expert Committee” and other working groups,  Ammar acted as a secretary for the Mediterranean Association of the National Agencies for Energy Conservation (MEDENER), Senior Energy Efficiency Expert and Executive Advisor to RCREEE and as focal Point for the Regional Mechanism on the Development of Energy Uses for Sustainable Development, United Nations Economic and Social Commission for Western Asia (UN-ESCWA).

Ammar holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Arkansas at Fayetteville and a Masters of Business Administration (MBA) from the University of Jordan. He is a Certified Energy Manager (CEM), a Certified Measurement and Verification Professional (CMVP), a certified PA-CEMP and a Certified RETScreen Expert (CRE).

Mayy Habayeb

Mayy Habayeb holds a Bachelor degree in Electrical Engineering – Computer design and a MASc. in Industrial Engineering specializing in software quality and predictive modelling. She is also PMP certified and has led several projects in fields of CRM, business intelligence and channel management across 13 countries in the Middle East, North Africa and Europe.

Mayy Habayeb is a part time instructor in the “Data Analytics, Big Data, and Predictive Analytics Certificate” program offered at Chang School Ryerson University. She has practical hands-on experience in developing machine learning algorithms and big data recommender systems. Her research work has been published at various conferences worldwide including the IEEE Big Data Conference.

Her practical 20+ years of experience covers the banking, telecommunication and academic industries.

Amira Alqaddoumi

Amira Alqaddoumi holds a master degree in Industrial Engineering / Administration and bachelor degree in chemical engineering.

She is a Certified Six Sigma Green Belt from the American Society for Quality, and Certified Project Management Professional PMP, she brings over 10 years of broad experience to the classroom.

Mrs. Alqaddoumi  possess solid project management experience, she has considerable experience in developing & implementing effective quality control processes & quality management systems in service related industries and strong command of statistical process control tools.

Mrs. Alqaddoumi has provided her service in project management and quality management to different organizations in the field of healthcare such as St. Michael’s Hospital –Toronto, Canada, King Fahad Medical City – Riyadh , Saudi Arabia.

She also served as principal instructor in the Industrial Engineering Department, delivering a course in quality management and lean six sigma.
